Alan Minsk Quoted in Law360

In November 2012 Alan G. Minsk was quoted in the Law360 article titled “Markey’s Post-Outbreak Bill May Fall Short Of Desired Overhaul” This article discusses Edward Markey’s introduced legislation that aims to strengthen the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s oversight of compounding pharmacies. Mr. Minsk says in the article that “to change the law doesn’t necessarily do much. It doesn’t necessarily mean it will lead to more inspections unless the FDA has the resources.”  He continues to say that “right now it’s a hot issue, but it also may die down in a few months.  Certainly if there’s another case next year, or the meningitis case flows over into next year, there could be passage.”
