AGG Partner Jason Bring Quoted in Georgia Health News

Jason E. Bring was recently quoted in an article by Georgia Health News entitled “Progress Being Made Against Costly Readmissions.” The article focuses on hospital readmission penalties under the Affordable Care Act, as well as the increasing collaboration between hospitals and nursing homes to reduce avoidable hospital readmissions. CMS penalizes hospitals based on readmissions of Medicare patients initially admitted to a hospital with a heart attack, heart failure or pneumonia. With roughly 68 percent of hospitals incurring a penalty, there is opportunity for continued improvement. For more information on hospital readmission issues, please click here contact Mr. Bring.
