AGG Antitrust Litigator Jeffrey Jacobovitz Quoted in Bloomberg Article about Google Agreement

Accused of unfairly skewing search results, Google agrees to make changes that bring to a close a 20-month antitrust investigation by the Federal Trade Commission. Ending the probe disappoints other search engine companies that were hoping the FTC would take enforcement action against Google. “Google’s competitors are looking at this as though it’s a slap on the wrist,” Jeffrey Jacobovitz of Arnall Golden Gregory’s Washington office tells Bloomberg. “It’s clear the FTC thought this was the best deal they could get and if they had gone to court, they may not have been as successful.”
