In cooperation with the State of Israel Ministry of Industry Trade & Labor; the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute; and the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce Southeast Region, AGG recently co-sponsored and hosted at AGG’s offices 15 Israeli water technology companies and approximately 50 U.S. businesses and consultants for an all-day Water Technology Business Exchange. Israeli technology is on the cutting edge of water treatment and processing; waste water processing and re-use, desalination and related technologies. These companies came to Atlanta to present their technology in a forum designed to give the U.S. the opportunity to access this technology.
The forum was sponsored by AGG’s Water Resources Practice Team and featured AGG attorneys Bruce Jackson (AGG Water Resources Practice Team co-leader) and John Gornall (AGG Business Development Team leader presenting to the forum on southeastern U.S. water resources and economic development issues. Bruce Jackson is also a member of the Governor of Georgia’s Water Contingency Planning Task Force.
The forum was co-sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company; Mueller Water Products; Morgan Stanley Smith Barney; the Center for Water Technology; the government of Israel Economic Mission, U.S. Southern Region; the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast; Israel NewTech and the Green Chamber of the South.
