Jay I. Solomon is a partner in the Immigration and Global Migration practice. Mr. Solomon comes to Arnall Golden Gregory after 40 years of private practice which includes founding a national consortium of immigration law firms known as IMMLAW. He is a former President of the Georgia/Alabama Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is a frequent speaker on immigration matters, both to the public and to the bar. He is the author of numerous articles in the field, including "Priorities and Preferences: Keeping Place in the Immigrant Visa Line," Federal Publications; "Immigrant Investors: A New Category," Prentice Hall Law and Business; "Labor Certification, Strategies and Procedures, Immigration & Nationality Law Handbook," American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Mr. Solomon has held the highest rating accorded by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory (AV) since 1989 and has been selected for inclusion in the "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers" in the area of Immigration Law, by Martindale-Hubbell. Other honors: Listed in Atlanta Magazine as one of the Top Attorneys in Georgia for Immigration Law; listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" for Immigration Law; listed in the International Who's Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers and the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers; and featured as a Leader in the Field of Immigration Law by Chambers USA since 2006.

Mr. Solomon is listed in the 2008 through 2013 Georgia Super Lawyers editions of Atlanta Magazine.  In June 2014, Mr. Solomon was recognized with the President's Commendation for Exemplary Service by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
