Admitted to practice law in the United States and Germany, Mr. Ziegler focuses on delivering efficient solutions to his multinational corporate clients’ needs in all aspects of their U.S. operations, from the formation of start-up sales subsidiaries to the inception and operation of manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Ziegler counsels clients in all aspects of inbound U.S. investments, strategic U.S./Germany partnerships, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as site-selection and negotiation of government incentives. He advises on all types of business matters such as sales, agency, distribution, licensing, software, employment and other business agreements; terms and conditions; intellectual property protection; products liability advice; website compliance; litigation; and visa matters, green cards and dual German/U.S. citizenship.

Mr. Ziegler is well recognized in the international legal community – he is a past Chair of the Europe Committee of the American Bar Association, Section of International Law (the Section has 18,000 members from 90 countries), received the Section’s Outstanding Stand-Alone Program Award, and serves as a frequent speaker with the Section, the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK), and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Ziegler also serves as an advisor to the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeastern U.S. and the German-American Cultural Foundation in Atlanta in corporate governance matters.
