Troy S. Brown is Of Counsel in the Litigation and Government Investigations Practices.

Mr. Brown focuses his practice on advising individuals and companies of all sizes in civil litigation, criminal defense, and government investigations. As an experienced practitioner and former legal ethics professor, he does not merely “represent” his clients, he embraces them with compassion, strategic insight and the tireless zeal necessary to champion their needs. He has consistently obtained positive results for clients in high-stakes matters such as commercial litigation, federal and criminal enforcement investigations, business or securities fraud, compliance issues, and employment litigation.

Mr. Brown’s wisdom and diverse skillset was developed through his background as an attorney with the Asset Management Unit of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As an associate for a large international law firm, he advised Fortune 500 companies including major financial institutions and franchisors in a range of litigation matters spanning from intellectual property to complex commercial litigation. He also served as an associate professor of law at Michigan State University College of Law and visiting professor at Vytautas Magnus University Law School. He continues to provide presentations on comparative ethics.
