Transatlantic Deals & Disputes: How to Avoid Shipwrecks in U.S.-German Business

The American Bar Association and the German Bar Association are teaming up to host an event in Frankfurt, Germany, titled “Transatlantic Deals & Disputes: How to Avoid Shipwrecks in U.S.-German Business.” This is the first-ever joint event and collaboration between the American Bar Association Section of International Law and the German Bar Association International Law Section. As ABA International Law Section Chair, AGG Managing Partner Glenn P. Hendrix is on the event’s Planning Committee, joined by Conference Co-chair and AGG Attorney Wilhelm J. Ziegler, and AGG Partners Teri A. Simmons and Tycho H.E. Stahl. Mr. Ziegler will also take part in a plenary session titled, “Transatlantic Cross-border Investment—United States and Germany” and will join Mr. Stahl in an interactive panel of experienced cross-border specialists discussing German investment in the U.S. Mr. Hendrix will act as moderator for a panel of transatlantic litigation specialists, including Mr. Ziegler, who will discuss the differences between the German and American litigation systems.
