Arnall Golden Gregory LLP
Two Arnall Golden Gregory partners, Scott Wandstrat and Brian R. Smith, have been named to the Fulton County Daily Report’s 2015 “On the Rise” class, a list of 40 exceptional lawyers younger than 40.

Mr. Wandstrat is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Healthcare and Governmental Investigations and Special Matters practices. He also chairs the Electronic Discovery team and serves as the firm’s technology partner.

Mr. Wandstrat has developed a well-earned, national reputation as a “go-to” lawyer for electronic discovery issues. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Board of Directors of Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, where he also occasionally performs improvisational comedy.

Mr. Smith is a member of the Real Estate practice who focuses on negotiating complex leasing transactions for retail, office and warehouse properties. Mr. Smith is particularly well known for his representation of landlords and tenants in high-end restaurant deals throughout the Southeast.

He serves on the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation Board and is the founder and immediate past president of its Junior Board. As president of the Junior Board in 2013, Mr. Smith co-founded and co-chaired the now annual Beer Tasting and Celebrity BBQ Battle, which, to date, has raised in excess of $150,000 for the pro bono efforts of AVLF and Atlanta Legal Aid.

Only one other law firm had two lawyers selected to the 2015 On the Rise list. Last year, AGG partner Edward Marshall was chosen and in 2013 partner Michael Holbein made the list. Arnall Golden Gregory is committed to investing in talented young lawyers and nurturing their development.

The Daily Report, Georgia’s leading newspaper for legal industry news, will hold a reception for the honorees on Sept. 15 at The Peachtree Club.
