On Thursday, September 15, 2011, AGG will host the General Body Meeting for the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). The topic for the meeting will be “Leadership Essentials,” and the panelists will be Fulton County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams, McKesson Revenue Management Solutions Chief Counsel Roxanne Douglass, and Solicitor General of Fulton County Carmen D. Smith. Formed in 1981, GABWA is a voluntary bar association that serves the needs and interests of black women attorneys by providing an informed and reliable voice through which their needs and those of the black community at large may be articulated. AGG attorney Althea J.K. Broughton and Special Events Coordinator Winifred Rice participated in the planning and coordination of the meeting.
