Lauren R. Light

Lauren is an associate in the Corporate & Finance practice.

She focuses her practice on representing private and public companies in a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, finance, entity selection and formation, and other matters.

Lauren graduated from the University of Georgia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. After graduating, she spent time in North Carolina teaching high school social studies with the Teach for America program. Upon her return to Atlanta, Lauren worked in development at a local non-profit, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

Lauren graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law where she was a member of the Georgia State Law Review and a graduate research assistant for Dean Roy Sobelson.
