Arnall Golden Gregory’s M&A Expertise Recognized in New IFLR1000 United States Guide

ATLANTA – Two Arnall Golden Gregory M&A attorneys and the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice have been recognized for outstanding service in the new IFLR1000 United States Guide.

Sherman A. Cohen, leader of AGG’s Corporate and Securities Practice, which includes the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, and Jonathan Golden, Chairman Emeritus of the firm, are listed in the M&A category for Georgia.

Mr. Cohen has more than 30 years of law practice experience focusing primarily on merger and acquisition transactions, debt and equity financing deals and corporate governance matters. He has also served as an expert witness on cases involving issues of corporate law.

Mr. Golden has practiced law for more than 50 years and serves on a number of private and public company boards and is highly experienced in corporate governance and fiduciary duty issues.

The IFLR1000 United States Guide to leading financial and corporate law firms includes just 15 firms in Georgia. Only 14 M&A attorneys are ranked in Georgia. Based in the U.K., IFLR1000 first published its global rankings in 1990, but ranking law firms and lawyers by state is new this year.
