Arnall Golden Gregory an Active Supporter of the Georgia Logistics Summit

Arnall Golden Gregory LLP is actively involved in the logistics and transportation conferences taking place in Atlanta next week.

Michael D. Golden, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice, co-leader of the Closely-Held and Family Business Practice and a member of the Global Logistics and Transportation Practice, organized the panel discussion “Critical Issues When Selling a Family-Owned or Closely-Held Logistics and Transportation Company,” moderated by veteran business journalist Maria Saporta.

The discussion will be a key event at the Georgia Logistics Summit, which takes place March 18-19 at the Georgia World Congress Center.  The panel meets on March 19 at 2 p.m. in room B404.  Arnall Golden Gregory is a summit sponsor.

Mr. Golden’s practice focuses on counseling public and private companies on growing their businesses through mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and creative financing arrangements.  Mr. Golden also represents companies in their employee matters, such as negotiating executive employment agreements and non-competition agreements.

Joining him on the panel will be Rob Adams, managing director, EVE Partners, LLC; Vince Eget, partner, Bennett Thrasher, LLP; and Heidi Green, managing partner, Perdue Partners, LLC.

Scott E. Taylor, chair of Arnall Golden Gregory’s Intellectual Property Practice, will introduce the keynote speaker at the Georgia Logistics Summit, Kevin Jones, Walmart’s vice president of inbound transportation, who will speak during lunch on March 19.

Tycho H.E. Stahl, a partner in the Corporate and Securities and International Business Practices, will be on the panel “Market Entry to U.S. for Foreign Companies,” at 5:15 p.m. on March 18 in room B206 at the Georgia World Congress Center.  Mr. Stahl’s discussion will be part of MODEX, the huge supply chain trade show.

A native of Germany, Mr. Stahl represents overseas and U.S. entities in asset acquisitions and dispositions, investments, market entry, joint ventures, site selection, establishment of manufacturing and assembly operations, and other business matters.
