    Experience
    For two decades, Mr. Stewart has served businesses at all stages of their growth by:
    • representing acquiring companies in the consolidation of their industries through acquisitions made with cash or stock;
    • representing financial groups or management in buyouts of companies;
    • representing sellers in the sale of business to targeted suitors in competitive bidding environments to maximize the purchase price;
    • representing businesses in private equity financing from angel, venture capital, or strategic investors;
    • representing businesses in public offerings of stock facilitated by underwriters with industry experience;
    • representing businesses in structuring and establishing strategic alliances to access capital, intellectual property, research and development, and sales and distribution channels;
    • counseling start-up businesses in their choice of legal entity (corporation, "S" corporation, or limited liability company); and
    • representing private and public companies in the establishment of stock option plans.
