Mr. Smith is a partner of the Firm, resident in the Macon office. He has experience representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and business litigation. His experience with debtors involves both agricultural and commercial business debtors. As to creditors, Mr. Smith's practice includes a heavy emphasis on representing banks, other secured creditors and lessor in bankruptcy and business litigation in and out of court workouts and in protecting their rights in sales of goods under the Uniform Commercial Code.

Mr. Smith is a frequent lecturer on various bankruptcy topics.
