Mr. Levison is a partner of the firm in the Corporate Practice Group. He served as Special Trial Attorney in the New York Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, 1951-55. He was a member of the Georgia Constitutional Revision Commission, 1963-64, and the Georgia State Election Board, 1968-71. Mr. Levison serves as a director of the Georgia Health Foundation, Inc., Bremen Foundation (its Chairman) and William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum. In 2002 and 2003, Mr. Levison has served as the Chair of the Atlanta Regional Panel of the White House Fellows Regional Selection Panel.

Initially, Mr. Levison's practice was tax-oriented. Beginning in the early 1960's, he participated in numerous mergers and acquisitions (including leveraged buy-outs). Over the years, his activities have broadened into general corporate and business counseling, in addition to tax counseling and litigation. Mr. Levison has participated as a panelist in numerous seminars over his years of practice, primarily tax and corporate oriented and more recently, in resolving conflicts of interest, ownership and management succession issues.
