Prominent Bankruptcy Attorney Joins Growing Arnall Golden Gregory LLP Bankruptcy Practice

ATLANTA, October 1, 2002 - One of Atlanta's top bankruptcy attorneys and a colleague have joined law firm Arnall Golden Gregory, adding depth to one of the firm's most rapidly growing practice areas.

Neil C. Gordon joins AGG's bankruptcy practice as a partner. Michael F. Holbein joins as an associate along with three paralegals and a secretary. All come to AGG from one of Atlanta's oldest commercial law firms, Macey, Wilensky, Cohen, Wittner & Kessler.

"Moving to AGG represents a great opportunity for me given their strong and growing bankruptcy practice," Gordon said. "It's an environment that will let me take my practice to the next level." Mr. Gordon's practice will focus on reorganizations, workouts and creditors rights. He will also continue his work as a bankruptcy trustee.

"This is a great addition for Arnall Golden Gregory," said AGG Managing Partner William H. Kitchens, adding that the firm's bankruptcy practice now has 11 attorneys. "Our bankruptcy practice has been one of the key growth areas for our firm. By adding Neil and Michael and their team, we gain valuable depth in terms of both expertise and capacity. This will allow us to continue growing this practice area to meet the increasing demand."

Gordon, an Atlanta native, earned his undergraduate degree in 1976 from the University of Florida and his law degree in 1979 from the University of Georgia. He has authored numerous articles on the legal aspects of bankruptcy and served in numerous leadership positions related to his specialty. He is a former chairman of the Atlanta Bar Association's Bankruptcy Law Section, on the Board of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the U.S. Panel of Trustees, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Commercial Law League of America.

Michael F. Holbein earned his undergraduate degree from Stetson University in 1995 and his law degree from the University of Florida in 1999.
