Patent Attorney Joins Arnall Golden Gregory LLP
in Firm's Intellectual Property, Life Sciences Practice Areas

ATLANTA, May 23, 2003 - Atlanta law firm Arnall Golden Gregory LLP announced today that Erinn C. Kelly has joined the firm, adding patent expertise to two of its most rapidly growing practice areas: intellectual property and life sciences.

Ms. Kelly was previously with the law firm of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. She is the latest addition to the firm's growing intellectual property and litigation practice since AGG acquired Bockhop & Reich LLP, a boutique firm specializing in patent law, in October of 2002.

Ms. Kelly is experienced in handling a wide variety of intellectual property litigation, prosecution, and client counseling matters, including patent, copyright, trademark, unfair competition and trade secret issues. She has assisted clients in the protection of intellectual property involving the mechanical, electrical, biological, and chemical arts, including clients in the textile, pharmaceutical and petroleum industries.

"We are pleased Erinn has joined our Intellectual Property and Life Sciences teams. She adds to our depth in several patent prosecution areas and we believe that her biotechnology background will fit nicely with our life sciences practice," said Bill Kitchens, Managing Partner of the firm. "Also, Erinn's litigation experience adds an important dimension to our client service in these areas."

Ms. Kelly received her law degree from the University of Virginia in 1997 and her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame in 1993. She is a co-contributor to the American Bar Association's recently published "Scientific Evidence Review Monograph No. 6 and was a featured presenter on the topic of "Copyright Law and Architecture" before the American Institute of Building Design in October 2002.

Arnall Golden Gregory provides innovative legal counsel to entrepreneurial and growing businesses. With more than 130 attorneys in Atlanta and Macon, Ga., the firm offers a wide range of services and takes pride in building lasting relationships with its clients.
