Mark Gould is co-leader of the Renewable and Alternative Energy Practice. He is also a partner in the Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice. Mr. Gould serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Solar Energy Association and co-chairs the International Energy and Natural Resources Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.
Mr. Gould focuses his practice on the representation of clients developing multi-family housing complexes, mixed-use and urban redevelopment projects, renewable and alternative energy facilities and other projects involving public/private partnerships or financed with low-income housing tax credits, energy tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and other types of conventional or subsidized financing. Mr. Gould also has substantial experience in the development and leasing of office buildings and shopping centers, and has represented European institutional clients in connection with investments in office, retail and resort properties throughout the United States and Australia.
Mr. Gould enjoys travelling and has been to 43 countries on six continents. Mr. Gould was a contestant on the original prime time version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”. Mr. Gould was a sports broadcaster in college and served alongside ESPN’s Chris Berman during one football game.
