Pro Bono and philanthropic activities are part of AGG’s long-time commitment to the Atlanta community.
Our attorneys regularly participate in the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Saturday Lawyer Program. They also provide legal assistance by representing victims of domestic violence through AVLF’s Domestic Violence Program. AGG attorneys also represent low-income individuals in need of legal assistance through both the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless and Atlanta Legal Aid.
Each year, attorneys and staff participate in Hands On Atlanta, a non-profit organization helping individuals and groups find volunteer opportunities at more than 400 service organizations and schools.
In 2000 and 2007, AGG received the Philip Heiner Award from the
Atlanta Bar Association
for exceptional dedication to and participation in pro bono activities.
In 2008, AGG was honored as one of five Atlanta businesses with a Philanthropy Award from the
Atlanta Business Chronicle
. The award was given not only on the basis of financial donations, but also for volunteer hours devoted to the community. In the same year, an AGG partner, Frank White, was presented with a pro bono award from the
Daily Report
, for his work in the arts community.
For 60 years, Arnall Golden Gregory has maintained a tradition of giving back to the community and will continue this tradition for years to come.
