Our Litigation Practice Group is responsible for all client matters which are handled at the trial and appellate court levels and before administrative agencies. The Litigation Practice Group has the resources to staff the most complex litigation matters, and gives constant attention to providing cost-effective and efficient legal services, regardless of the size of the matter. The group’s attorneys have substantial experience in cases involving sophisticated document management and discovery techniques. The firm has been involved in a significant number of appellate decisions which have helped shape the course of the law at the local, state and national level. Antitrust and Trade Regulation Litigation
The firm represents businesses and individuals with respect to federal and state antitrust, trade regulation and unfair competition laws in civil and criminal actions before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Attorneys practicing in this area are called upon to advise clients on prospective mergers, filings, pricing and marketing practices, licensing agreements, and other issues affected by the antitrust and trade regulation laws.
Bankruptcy, Creditors Rights and Loan Workouts
The firm represents both corporate and individual clients, including financially troubled companies, in bankruptcy and corporate reorganization matters. Secured creditors, unsecured creditors and creditors’ committees are also counseled in bankruptcy proceedings, including pre-bankruptcy planning, claims negotiations and bankruptcy litigation. With its extensive commercial litigation, bankruptcy and real estate experience, the firm is able to represent its clients in negotiating loan workouts and debt restructuring.
Employment Law
In conjunction with the Employment Law Practice Team, some of the firm's attorneys represent corporate clients in virtually all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. These attorneys are experienced in the areas of federal and state labor law compliance, wage and hour laws, restrictive covenants in employment agreements, labor management relations, equal employment counseling and litigation, discrimination issues, wrongful termination and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation.
Environmental Litigation and Counseling
Together with the Environmental Practice Team, some of the Litigation attorneys have extensive experience representing clients in negotiations and litigation before federal and state environmental regulatory agencies.
Food, Drug and Medical Devices
Many of AGG's attorneys have concentrated in this area of law since the firm’s inception, and the firm enjoys a national reputation in this field. Several attorneys have extensive experience in this area both in federal and state courts and regularly represent clients before the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Trade Commission, United States Department of Agriculture and various state agencies. The attorneys are also active in the administrative rule-making process and in advising clients regarding product approval, safety issues, good manufacturing practices, labeling and advertising.

In the area of healthcare law, the firm's Healthcare Practice Team offers a full range of legal services.
