The June 14th issue of the Atlanta Business Chronicle features an article titled “Tax Reform Will Impact Many Georgia Businesses,” which explains to Georgia’s business community the significance of HB 1405, a bill Governor Sonny Perdue signed into legislation on June 1st that creates the 2010 Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness for Georgians. Staff Writer Dave Williams interviews Russell K. Paul, Director of AGG's AGG's Government Affairs and Public Policy Practice Team, as well as several members of the newly formed Special Council and other leading economists. The article describes the formation of the council, the Council’s plans for the future and the background of HB 1405.
