Ms. Plybon is a partner of the firm in the Private Wealth Practice Group and Co-chair of the Business Succession Planning Team. She is a Certified Public Accountant as well as an attorney. Her practice focuses on complex wealth transfer planning for high net worth clients, including charitable planning, sophisticated post mortem planning and administration, and business succession planning. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Plybon is active in several professional and civic organizations, including the Planned Giving Council for Piedmont Hospital, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Inc., the Emory Law School Council and the Board of the Parents Association of The Westminster Schools. Ms. Plybon is an author and frequent lecturer on estate planning topics and has appeared as a tax law commentator for CNN and CNNfn, including appearances on Daybreak, In The Money and CNN Today.
