Mr. Mattingly's primary practice areas are commercial real estate and commercial lending. In his real estate practice, he represents developers in selling, acquiring and developing real estate. He has handled developer representation involving major shopping centers and mixed-use office and retail centers.

Mr. Mattingly is also the Chairman of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP's Commercial Lending Practice Team. He represents banks, finance companies, insurance companies and other lenders in all aspects of real estate, corporate and commercial lending, including asset-based lending. He has handled the bulk of AGG's lender representation on permanent, non recourse loans and mezzanine financings. Mr. Mattingly also handles work-outs and other transactional creditor's rights matters.
