Mr. Ziegler is a transactional attorney in the firm’s International Group and Mergers and Acquisitions/ Strategic Alliances Team. He focuses primarily on international transactions, both inbound and outbound, international and domestic mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances, and general corporate law. He has significant experience in counseling foreign-owned and domestic companies during the formation and operation of various operating and investment entities.

Mr. Ziegler holds law degrees from both the United States and Germany and is admitted to practice law in both countries. His practice extends beyond legal issues of the U.S. common law system to a broad range of legal matters pertaining to the civil law systems of the European Union and Germany, thereby frequently representing clients in legal matters and contractual negotiations overseas. Mr. Ziegler maintains a close professional relationship with major law and accounting firms in Europe, and he is an active member of the German-American business community.
