Mr. Weitkamp is an associate in the firm's Corporate Practice Group and the Employee Benefits and Tax Practice Teams. Mr. Weitkamp represents clients in all areas of the design and administration of their qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. He advises clients with respect to the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions and compliance with the various bodies of law governing employee benefits (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.). Mr. Weitkamp also represents clients before government agencies in the context of audits, inquiries, and voluntary compliance filings.

Mr. Weitkamp also practices in the area of state and local taxation. He represents clients in the areas of state and local tax planning, audit defense, and voluntary compliance.

Prior to joining Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, Mr. Weitkamp was a Tax Manager with the tax consulting firm of DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc.
