Mr. Thompson is a past Chairperson of the firm's Corporate Practice Group and Mergers & Acquisitions/Strategic Alliances practice team. He has a diverse transactional practice representing both domestic and international privately-held corporations, investment funds and financial institutions. He counsels clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and corporate finance (private equity and debt financings, and venture capital funds), international transactions (general business and commercial ventures, structuring of investments in the U.S. and abroad, technology transfer) and financial institutions (regulatory compliance, D&O compliance, structured workouts and mergers and acquisitions).
