Area of Practice
International Corporate,with particular emphasis on Immigration Law

Ms. Simmons is a partner in the firm. She directs the International/Immigration Practice Team which focuses on multinational transactions, German-American business services, international tax, business- and family-based immigration law and representation before the Immigration Law Judge. She served as the immediate past Chair for the Atlanta Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Ms. Simmons works with both large corporate clients and with individuals. She has spoken to international audiences on corporate and immigration matters throughout the US and in Germany and has been quoted in Inc. magazine. Ms. Simmons has also consulted with German government officials and the US State Department on the development of Germany's immigration system.

Ms. Simmons is fluent in written and spoken German and is familiar with the German legal system and laws.
