Mr. Johnson is a partner of the firm, is the Co-Chairman of the firm's Corporate Practice Group, and is an active member of the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions/Strategic Alliances and Growth Companies/Private Equities Practice Teams. He assists middle-market business clients in consummating acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, private equity investments and strategic partnerships and has been lead counsel in over 30 such transactions in the last three years, representing a combined aggregate business value of over $300 million. He counsels private company clients in structuring relationships between business owners, employment matters, succession planning and all areas of federal and state taxation. He also assists foreign clients in planning and implementing their business operations in the United States and in planning and executing US clients' international activities.
