Mr. Getzendanner is a partner and former Chairman of the firm's Litigation Practice Group. He has successfully handled a number of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts in the areas of antitrust, trademark, securities law, RICO, and accountants' professional liability. He has been an innovator in the use of computers in managing complex litigation files and in the use of multimedia presentation techniques in the courtroom. He has functioned as lead counsel in numerous civil and administrative litigation's involving a broad range of substantive legal issues, including the defense of class actions in both state and federal courts. He has particular experience litigating emergency matters, having in a number of cases successfully obtained and in other cases defeated temporary and preliminary injunctions in both state and federal courts. Mr. Getzendanner has participated in several successful settlements involving the use of alternative dispute mechanisms including mediation, arbitration and mini-trials.
