Mr. Bring is an associate in the firm's Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Teams. His practice focuses on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, certificate of need litigation, HIPAA, civil monetary penalty defense, and general healthcare litigation. Mr. Bring speaks regularly on medical records issues, and he has co-authored and testified in support of legislation to clarify the processes for releasing medical records in Georgia. He is active in HIPAA preparedness, having authored several articles and spoken on HIPAA compliance issues. Mr. Bring is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Georgia Academy of Hospital Attorneys, and the Georgia Strategic Local Implementation Process (GSLIP) for HIPAA implementation in Georgia. He is Secretary of the GSLIP Awareness, Education and Training Workgroup.
