AGG Logistics and Transportation Partner Andrew R. Spector is quoted extensively in the March 2012 edition of Inbound Logistics in an article titled “Ocean Freight Carriers Weather Rough Seas.” The ocean container shipping industry faces a volatile and uncertain market with ever-changing growth patterns due to the economic downturn and recent maturity in East-West trades. Mr. Spector says that while the entire ocean freight industry requires increased stability and discipline, global logistics suppliers are still evolving to include more services, which is causing roles to blend and contracts to become more complicated. According to the article, “It’s important for shippers to know what service they are engaging, and that the lines may blur when using a multi-service intermediary.”
