Andrew B. Flake is a partner in the Litigation Practice.
Mr. Flake focuses his practice on protecting his clients' business assets, including technology and intellectual property, through the litigation and trial of complex business disputes. He is also experienced in the use of alternative dispute resolution tools like mediation and arbitration. Mr. Flake frequently handles matters for national and international clients involving unfair competition, false advertising, defamation and rights of publicity, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder rights and corporate governance, interference with business relations, business valuation and theft of trade secrets.
Mr. Flake frequently speaks and presents on the litigation and trial of business cases on how companies can protect competitive advantage and on the intersection of law and technology. As part of a national trial practice, Mr. Flake has also appeared as pro hac vice trial counsel in other state and federal courts in jurisdictions including Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina and Ohio. A German speaker with an L.L.M. in international and comparative law, Mr. Flake offers deep experience in counseling international businesses through litigation, trial and arbitration processes.
