Adam P. Balthrop is an associate in the Real Estate Practice. While studying law at Emory University, Mr. Balthrop received numerous awards for academic excellence including the prestigious Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund Award for excellence in the study of real estate law.
Mr. Balthrop focuses his practice on general real estate law, including commercial leasing; purchase, sale and financing of raw and improved real estate; and affordable housing development and financing. He has also represented borrowers and lenders in transactions financed with federal and state tax credits.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Balthrop worked on the production teams of several major film and television projects, and as a reporter covering the construction industry for a national trade magazine.
